The Planetary Nebula Spectrograph (PN.S) was designed specifically to measure the shifted wavelength (and hence velocity) of the 5007{AA} [OIII] emission line that dominates the spectra of PNe. The PN.S observations for this survey were carried out on the William Herschel Telescope (WHT) in La Palma on two runs: 2002 October 8-13 and 2003 September 29-October 5.
