It is proposed to continue obtaining IUE observations of three luminous highly variable Type I Seyfert galaxies 3C 120, 3C 382, and 3C 390.3. All of these objects have been observed in past years with IUE and also are being monitored from the ground on a regular basis. Since most of the interesting CV lines are covered with the short wavelength camera, only short wavelength camera spectra will be obtained. Since changes in the broad lines are known to occur in less than one year, it is proposed to observe the objects twice during the year. Using IUE and visual data, it should be possible to show (1) whether the broad line region is expanding, contracting, or rotating, (2) how large the region is, and (3) whether the region is more nearly like a disk or a thick shell.
