The method of scaled factorial moments of normalized distribution is used to analyze the galaxy distribution in the universe. Two types of galaxy subsamples and two ways of dividing the space into cells are considered for the CfA catalogue. In all cases strong intermittency in the galaxy distribution is observed. The authors also estimate the fractal dimensions D2, ..., D5.
