We studied the interaction of turbulence with shock waves through a mean-field theory. The usual Rankine-Hugoniot condition is modified to describe the jump relation between the mean upstream field and the mean downstream field. For a special non-correlated solution, the mean shock position can be calculated from a closed set of equations, which is possible to be tested with observations.
