This letter describes a method used for the detection of a Fabry-Perot interferometer-fringe system. The interference rings light, through a telescope, a plate made of 50 photoresisting ring cells; the numbers of the most lighted cells are displayed on a panel. With a 16-cm Fabry-Perot interferometer, the limit of resolution is actually about 0.001 per cm.
