We propose to map selected regions towards the supernova remnant G347.3-0.5 in order to test claims of associations with different molecular clouds. This SNR is suggested to be the first unambiguous accelerator of Galactic cosmic ray nuclei, although the nature of the TeV emission from the SNR is still uncertain. Our observations will use optically thin 13CO transition and will have higher spatial resolution than previous observations, which could confirm or reject the suggested associations. These results will provide important constraints for the broad-band model of particle acceleration in this remnant.
