I will compare debris disks on a number of physical parameters such as size, albedo, gas-to-dust ratio, and dust composition. To the extent possible, I will also compare these parameters to what is known about Solar System evolution. The goal of these comparisons is to understand what commonalities and uniquenesses underly the observed properties of disks and to learn what they tell us about the progress of planet formation, if any, within them.
