We applied our "fireshell" model to GRB980425 observational data,
reproducing very satisfactory its prompt emission. We use the results of
our analysis to provide a possible interpretation for the X-ray emission
of the source S1. The effect on the GRB analysis of the lack of data in
the pre-Swift observations is also outlined.
