It is shown that in accordance with the relativistic tensor theory of the gravitational field in flat space-time the power of the gravitational radiation from the binary pulsar PSR 1913 + 16 exceeds the prediction of the general theory of relativity by 3.5%. This small correction is due to the contribution of the scalar gravitational radiation. It is noted that in the case of spherically symmetric pulsations of bodies the scalar gravitational radiation becomes decisive.
