We introduce the hypothesis of incomplete information into the fractional
exclusion statistics in order to apply the latter to some correlated heavy
fermion systems. It is shown that the actual inexplicit distribution function
of FES may be replaced by an equivalent explicit one of which the form does not
change with $\alpha$ value.
