Aim is to establish the throughput of the F96/F288 relay. In both the F96 and F288 modes--which must be done separately--we propose to observe a UV-optical spectrophotometric standard star through narrow-band filters, spanning the wavelength range of the instrument. Minimum of two standards required; a single camera format is required. Targets are drawn from the ST ScI lists. The F48 chain can not easily be calibrated in the same way, because there are few suitable filters, no attenuators, and the standards are too bright. The absolute sensitivity will be established from the F48 spectrograph. Data will be analyzed using CDBS, and the results used to update the FOC reference files in SOGS. NOTE: Required use of 4 filters in lines 65 and 233..... Some information will be obtained on the PSF, although this won't yield detailed data as exposure times are relatively short. However, as the activity is done first thing in SV, a preliminary PSF can probably be derived.
