The aim of this SV task is to determine the wavelength calibration of the spectrograph using an external source, namely a planetary nebula. There is no internal wavelength calibration for the spectrograph. Although there is only time in SV to do this task once, it must be repeated during cycle 2 and later. Both echelle and filter modes will be studied. The resulting data will be used to update the SOGS RSDP files for routine processing of FOC images.
