It is shown, for a number of model distributions of the dense cold plasma background of the plasmasphere, that VLF waves can be quasi-guided in quasi-potential regimes as they propagate in the geomagnetic-meridian plane. A universal system of limiting ray trajectories is constructed for the quasi-potential regimes, and the corresponding motion integrals are found.
