Experiences with CTIO's SIT vidicon system are briefly described. It is noted that with a simple reduction procedure, spectra at approximately 60 A/mm of 18th-19th magnitude stars and distant globular clusters yield radial velocities of approximately 25 km/sec mean error. While there are reasons to suspect that the ultimate errors for the system could be quite a bit smaller, the present performance is sufficient to demonstrate the association of high-velocity objects crucial to many stellar and nearby extragalactic problems. Sample spectra are given for faint stars in Omega Cen and Graham and Phillips' globular cluster near NGC 5128.
