Scientific paper

The principal physical concepts involving superfluid and superconducting states of matter, as exemplified by the processes occurring in pulsars and white dwarfs, are discussed. The topics studied include fermion and bozon gases, a degenerate Fermi-Dirac gas, a degenerate Fermi gas with particle attraction, quantum fluids (superfluidity), and the hydrodynamics of a rotating superfluid.
