Numerical and analytical analysis is used to explain recently observed
experimental phenomenon - excitation of spin waves in spin valves due to the
applied spin polarized current. Excited spin waves are being identified and
Lyapunov stability analysis is being used to identify different regions of
stability depending on the value of the applied current.
