As models for the investigation of a plane-symmetric system and its evolution, solutions of Einstein's equations for dust with plane symmetry are studied. A new solution is found for a particular case; the solution depends on one arbitrary function which evolves to the open Robertson-Walker model as t approaches infinity. The function density on an initial spacelike hypersurface is an arbitrary function of z.
