Alternative relativistic treatments of translational and rotational test body motion, derived from the Mathisson-Papapetrou equations under additional Pirani or Tulczyjew-Dixon conditions are examined. Nonphysical solutions are eliminated; and the initial-value problem for coordinates, velocity, and spin vector is formulated. Approximations in spin powers are considered, and the alternative dynamics equations are found to be equivalent in the first and second approximations.
