The LIght Detection And Ranging instrument (LIDAR) onboard the Hayabusa
spacecraft provided the scientific data of the gravity estimation. In
this paper, we will describe the mission specifications for the LIDAR
instrument and the gravity and density results obtained by LIDAR.
