At the Yakutsk EAS facility, showers are classified with respect to density at large distances (300 to 600 m) from the shower axis. In the present paper, Yakutsk EAS data are used to critically analyze some spectra obtained with respect to the number of particles for various penetration depths. The dependence of the spatial distribution function on the penetration depth is studied.
