Following Landau and Lifshitz's definition of the center of inertia (C. I.) in terms of the time component of the energy-momentum tensor of matter and that of the pseudotensor of gravitational field, the C. I. coordinate is determined for an n-body system in the post-post-Newtonian approximation in general relativity. The result for a two-body system coincides with that derived directly from the equations of motion and is not a form of 1/2, 1/2 split for potential terms. The C. I. coordinate for the acceleration-dependent Lagrangian is also derived.
