In the context of coordinated models of ionosphere-plasmasphere interactions, calculations are made of the electron temperature using the standard approach and taking into account the transfer equation for heat flows. It is shown that the main differences in the calculated temperature distributions are observed during the periods of sunrise and sunset and grow with increasing height and number of the geomagnetic force tube. These deviations result from the effects of the nonsteady nature of the heat flow, which, if taken into account, also reduces to an acceleration of the heating and cooling processes of the electrons in the morning and evening hours, respectively.
