An analysis is made of the behavior of fluxes of galactic cosmic rays (GCR) obtained from the data of the worldwide net of neutron monitors during 1968 - 1969 and 1973 - 1974 as a function of the IMF polarity. Average values of the GCR fluxes were obtained for both periods. The GCR fluxes in positive and negative sectors of the IMF were considered separately.
