The goal of the Astroflow project is to provide an environment which makes it easier for non-experts to interact with fluid dynamics simulation and understand astrophysical phenomena. We have developed the Astroflow software framework for managing and visualizing simulation data. This framework has been used to develop an application for use in the Strasenburg Planetarium, in Rochester, NY. The purpose of this application is to allow patrons to interactively explore the consequences of adjusting wind speeds, environmental densities, and mass distributions and compare the results with observations. We present a version of the application and plans for the kiosk exhibit into which the software will be integrated. This work was funded NSF Career Award AST-9702484.
