Scientific paper

The paper proposes a noniterative approximate method for solving the
Euler-Lambert equation for a near-circular elliptical orbit. The method
is based on a Taylor-series approach and reduces the problem to the
solution of a quadratic equation. The accuracy of the method is
evaluated numerically.
