Photometric observations of the near-Earth asteroid 1992 UY4 were made in 2005 July in support of planned radar observations. Analysis of the resulting data showed a synodic period of 12.912±0.005h and a lightcurve amplitude of 0.26±0.02m. Including additional data obtained in early 2005 August yields a more precise synodic period of 12.9060±0.0008h.
