A method is developed for evaluating the plasma densities from the measured resonance, intercombination, and forbidden helium-like Mg XI line intensities using plots of the G and R ratios obtained by analyzing INTERCOSMOS 16 ADP spectra. Results show that the proposed G-R ratio plots are very useful in analyzing the densities close to the low density threshold and in many cases yield both lower and upper density limits. It is suggested that the G-R plots could be used as standard diagrams for calculating the densities from the helium-like triplet line intensity ratios. A correlation between plasma density and electron temperature is determined for the active region McMath 14352 and is found to be in good agreement with previous results. In addition, the systematic differences between measured and calculated line fluxes in all bands A to F are examined.
