Consideration is given to an interferometric method for the recognition of a weak signal from a moving emission source with a continuous spectrum on a noise background. Assuming a pointwise source with uniform motion, the possibility of recognizing a weak signal from the same source as the noise is demonstrated. The efficiency of recognition is defined by the dimensions of the time-frequency observation window. Estimates of this efficiency are given for several characteristic signals.
