A control system for a wide field of view phased array telescope called the Multipurpose Multiple Telescope Testbed (MMTT) is described. The array is made up of four 20 cm aperture telescopes phased together with a 30-arcminute field of view. Telescope lateral pupil geometry is controlled by actuating two flat beam combiner mirrors behind each telescope so that the beams from each telescope can be translated to correct the geometry. Preliminary test results show that for small field angles lateral pupil geometry is accurately controlled. A tilt error correction method for larger field angles is suggested.
