The southern sky survey of high-velocity (HV) neutral hydrogen by Bajaja et al. (1985) has been complemented with more detailed observations of selected objects with higher sensitivity, better spatial sampling, and higher velocity resolution. Attention is given to: (1) two complexes with very high LSR velocities; (2) several HV complexes of low b, in the range l = 230-290 deg, some of which probably should be understood as high-z extensions of the outer arms of the Galaxy; (3) some HI-components of HV located in regions near the Magellanic Complex but with velocities which would be anomalous if they belonged to the complex; and (4) five small HVCs located near the line l = 0 deg, which probably are very distant objects falling into the Galaxy.
