X-ray emulsion chamber data are presented on the azimuthal angular distribution of gamma families as a function of their primary energies. The data make it possible to estimate the generation cross sections of quark-gluon jets up to energies of 3 x 10 exp 16 eV. It is found that a substantial increase in the generation cross sections of quark-gluon jets occurs at energies greater than 2 x 10 exp 15 eV.
