This paper describes the construction of a simple nomograph for finding solutions for t 1 and t 2 in the formula, R = ( e ' t 1 - e ' t 2 )/ ( e t 1 - e glt 2 ) which is useful for interpreting anomalous lead isotope abundances. The nomograph does not require interpolation. Formulae are given for the slope of the best line through the measured isotope ratios and its standard deviation. These assume equal errors in the Pb 206 / Pb 204 and Pb 207 / Pb 204 ratios.
