We have discovered a new layered iron arsenide oxide (Fe2As2)(Ca5(Mg,Ti)4Oy). Crystal structure of this compound is identical to (Fe2As2)(Ca5(Sc,Ti)4Oy), which was found in our previous study, having a tetragonal cell with a space group of I4/mmm and consists of anti-fluorite type FeAs layers and oxide layers having quadruple perovskite cells. The lattice constants of this compound are a = 3.864(2) A and c = 41.05(2) A. This compound exhibited bulk superconductivity with Tc onset ~39 K in magnetization measurement and ~43 K in resistivity measurement.
