We present preliminary results of a measurement of the Cosmic Ray positron fraction obtained from the second balloon flight of the High Energy Antimatter Telescope (HEAT). The HEAT instrument combines a magnetic spectrometer with a transition radiation detector, electromagnetic calorimeter, and time of flight counters. The data from this flight provides a measurement of the positron fraction over the energy range 1 < E < 50 GeV, extending the range explored by the first HEAT flight to lower energies.
