We report the EGRET detection of a gamma ray flare in the blazar CTA 26 during the epoch 1995.25. The peak flux for this flare was (4.9+/-1.5)*E(6) cm(-2) s(-1) (E > 100 MeV). This is the third largest flux of all EGRET blazars. Follow-up observations from the Green Bank monitoring program, Metsahovi Radio Telescope, and University of Michigan Radio Observatory are also presented here, along with a correlation analysis of the location of any possible radio flares associated with the gamma ray flare. Finally, we present several epochs of VLBA maps investigating the possibility of emergence of new regions of synchrotron emission in the jet.
