A taxonomical analysis is used to consider the galactic distribution of 300 cepheids. About half of them is shown to enter taxons (groups) with characteristic dimensions of several hundred parsecs. Cepheids in each taxon are close in space and have comparatively close values of radial velocity and period. If the period of a cepheid is connected with its age, the results mean that taxon contains stars of approximately similar age. Perhaps it is due to their common origin.
