OASIS is a TIGER-like integral field spectrograph mounted on the
adaptive optics system at the 3.6m CFHT. This common-user instrument has
unique capabilities, providing 2-D data cubes at very high spatial
resolution. The detailed study of the kinematics of galactic nuclei is
an obvious target for OASIS.
