Scientific paper

Short-lived statistically significant bursts of flickering activity have been detected in WR 141 from the high-speed photometry made with an integration time of 0.1 and 0.5 s in narrow spectral bands centered at the He II emission line λ468.6 nm and the continuum at λc = 427 nm. The mean flickering power in the continuum is always several times higher than that in the emission line for the same integration time.
