As a result of applying the Modified Gaussian Model to data taken by the
Near-Infrared Spectrometer (NIRS) onboard Hayabusa spacecraft and
ordinary chondrite samples, it is suggested that Itokawa's surface is
made of materials similar to LL6 chondrites.
