The large-scale radio continuum structure of the Sgr A complex of radio sources is discussed, with reference to recent Very Large Array (VLA) data. It is shown that the large-scale structure follows the borders of the 50 km/s neutral gas cloud. Correspondence between the radio arc feature and the boundary of the cloud suggests that the shape of the arc is determined by neutral material. A strong emission peak in the CO line is coincident with observations of a new cluster of H II regions. Analysis of the small-scale structure of Sgr A(asterisk) and Sgr A (West) shows that the two sources are encircled by a ring of gas which is visible in H I and (C-12)O and has a radius of about 3 pc and a rotation velocity of about 110 km/s. The ring provides H I or H2CO absorption at a velocity of 40-60 km/s in the direction Sgr A (West). The orientation of the ring relative to the galactic equator is illustrated in a series of declination-velocity and ascension-velocity diagrams.
