The hard X-ray and γ-ray bands are important frequency windows for exploring the energetic universe. It is in these energy bands that the non-thermal emission becomes dominant. In order to study the "non-thermal universe", characterized by accelerated high energy particles, we need an advanced mission which has orders of magnitude better sensitivity than any previous or current missions. Here, we report the plans for a future high energy mission in Japan.
