CheMin is an XRD instrument in the analytical laboratory of MSL. CheMin
uses a microfocus-source Co X-ray tube, a transmission sample cell, and
an energy-discriminating X-ray sensitive CCD to produce XRD patterns and
X-ray fluorescence spectra from powdered samples.
