The paper presents a collection of test images which was the focus of the satellite workshop, held on Monday 17 April 1989, of the Data Analysis Workshop. The advantages of availing of this set of test images, and of focusing on the analysis results are two-fold. They provide a set of results which can be used for benchmarking future software packages and alternative algorithms. They also provide a common point of interest for those who develop 2-dimensional software for stellar and galaxy photometry. One hopes that such already-existing systems can be used as building-blocks for systems of the future rather than the all-too-common practice of restarting from first principles.
