It is well known from analytical work that the accretion disk model stated by Shakura and Sunyaev (Shakura and Sunyaev, 1973) shows, in the radiation pressure dominated zone, called the A zone, an instability, called the `Shakura-Sunyaev instability'. This work shows the results of some simulations of α-disks in the conditions that the analytical theory states as instability conditions. Our simulations are two dimensional (r-z) and time dependent. We use the Smoothed Particle method in cylindric coordinates. The simulations of the A zone follow the time evolution of the disks. It appears that convection is very important to stabilize the flow. .
