From UBV observations, TU Hor is found to be an ellipsoidal variable (V
magnitude of 5.925 to 6.025) with a period of 0.935984 day. Analysis of
the light variation indicates abnormal reflection behavior in close
binary systems. Spectroscopic observations yield an orbital inclination
of about 35 deg.
