In this paper, a little summary on initial conditions and perturbations for quintessence scalar field Ψ endowed with a scalar potential V(Ψ)=Vo[sinh(ακoΨ)]β (β<0) is presented. It is found that the range of initial conditions can be of 120 orders of magnitude for ρΨ and that scalar perturbations lower the matter fluctuations with respect to the standard case. .
