Scientific paper
The energy spectra of hadrons and leptons in the atmosphere are obtained as solutions of transport equations for these particles in the energy range 1 - 105GeV. The spectrum of primary cosmic radiation is used as a boundary condition. The calculated energy spectra of the particles are given by the solution of a direct problem and do not require an additional normalization to the experimental data. The calculated energy spectrum of muons at sea level agrees with the experimental data with an error 8 - 10% in the energy range 10 - 103GeV, and with an error 10 - 15% in the energy range 103 - 104GeV. The error in the calculated neutrino spectra is of the same order of magnitude.
