The purpose of the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics (IGPP) is to enrich the opportunities of University of California campus researchers by making available to them some of the laboratory's unique facilities and expertise, and to broaden the scientific horizon of LLNL researchers by encouraging collaborative or interdisciplinary work with other UC scientists. This report contains brief summaries on research conducted at the IGPP-LLNL on the following topics: geoscience, high-pressure sciences, and astrophysics.
