The Ne/Fe abundance ratio in young stars is presently a riddle. We ask for 30ks to observe 3 selected weak-lined T Tauri stars of the TW Hydrae Association (TWA) in order to evaluate the Ne/Fe abundance ratio for this region. Two classical T Tauri stars of this association, TW Hydrae and TWA5, show very large Ne/Fe ratios: Ne/Fe~10(Ne/Fe)_sun. The proposed observations will allow us to distinguish between the two different scenarios: (a) this peculiar abundances are common among stars in the TWA, because the molecular cloud from which the stars originated had Ne/Fe much higher than current accepted cosmic value; or (b) the evolutionary stage of TW Hya and TWA5, which are still accreting material from their circumstellar disks, is the cause of the enhanced Ne/Fe.
