The paper is devoted to the problem of the use of the Sun's proper
rotation in space navigation. Some variants of determination of the
angular position of spacecraft by measuring the distribution of beam
velocity over the Sun's disk are proposed and discussed. It is noted
that adaptive follow-up systems are preferable.
